The Big Five Board Awards & Dinner offer an unrivalled evening of networking for Africa's leading oil and gas companies and senior executives in a reception-style event for these long-respected and annual accolades. Awarded since 1997 and with over 100 recipients to date, the Big Five Board Awards enter an incredible 23rd year. The event supports the plight of African wildlife and aims to raise funds for various conservation projects on the African Continent with a charity auction, held at the Awards Dinner.

Event Terms and Conditions

Terms & Conditions of Entry

Right of Admission Policy:

Right of Admission is reserved by Frontier. You may be asked for a valid photo identification at the time of registration and at any time during the event. 

Invoice Policy:

If an invoice is requested, payment will be required by no later than the Event Date. If payment is not received before then, Frontier reserves the right to cancel the registration without notice. Payment may be made by credit card or bank transfer. Any outstanding invoices must be settled by the commencement date and payment is required in full to gain access to this event.

Cancellation Policy:

Up to 4 weeks to the event start date, cancellations will be accepted but must be put in writing to Frontier. After this point, the full fee will be applicable.

  • Up to 12 weeks before the event date, a 20% cancellation fee will be applicable

  • Up to 8 weeks before the event date, a 30% cancellation fee will be applicable

  • Up to 4 weeks before the event date, a 50% cancellation fee will be applicable

  • Less than 4 weeks before the event date, the full fee will be applicable

  • No Show, the full fee will be applicable

Substitutions:

A request to transfer a registration to a colleague should be made by giving written notice via email. Frontier reserves the right to deny a request for such a substitution, but will not unreasonably do so. Delegates are not permitted to share tickets and request a substitution half way through the event.

Name Badges:

For security, and as a courtesy to other Attendees, name badges MUST be worn at all times. Name badges are non-interchangeable and cannot be passed on to another individual. We may ask for your identification if this is in doubt.

Press:

Only pre-registered and accredited Press will be permitted access to the event. We ask that registered Press arrive on time before the start of the conference. We request that all press report on the event accurately, to avoid any untoward repercussions. Press misrepresentations of speaker presentations in print will with regret lead to refusal of future registrations. Conference Presentations are not made available to any media/journalists or publications. While the media are invited to the main conference, we request that the privacy of all our attendees be duly respected throughout on such occasions. Strictly no filming in the auditorium. Frontier will not accept any responsibility for any missing/damaged equipment during the event

Promotional Material:

Delegates may not display their own promotional material, unless agreed in Sponsor & Exhibition and Partnership Agreements.

Banqueting:

Vegetarian food is catered for at all Events and will be clearly marked.

Mobile Phones:

All phones are to be switched off in the conference room and during speeches, as a courtesy to speakers but also to avoid technical interference.

Indemnity:

Where matters beyond the reasonable control of Frontier impair or prevent Frontier being able to perform its obligations under this event, the client releases Frontier from any liability or loss incidental or consequential to such matters. Frontier will not accept any liability for loss of property or injury to persons in relation to this event.

All conference documentation is under copyright of the Speakers and Frontier, and may only be reproduced with special permission. The information contained in presentation materials are the opinions of the Authors and Speakers and not those of the organisers, Frontier. Frontier cannot accept responsibility for the content of the presentations.
